While your remodel project is working its way through our design process, our construction team is engaged in making sure the cost estimates are updated every time there is a substantive design change made. This includes how the design change affects constructability, schedule, and cost.
With our in-house construction team literally at the desks next to them, our designers have an easy resource to confirm the most efficient way to design something so it is easy to build. For most residential construction companies, value engineering is a phase, but for us it happens naturally at every step of the process.
One big advantage of the design build model is that we can put you on our construction calendar at the beginning of design and work backwards from that start date by setting key milestones to make sure we stay on track. This can take months off a project timeline when you compare to the process of completing the design, sending the drawings out to contractors, and hoping they have openings in their schedules.
