A Family Legacy
Founded by Jason Langkammerer as an architecture firm in 2005, AT6 evolved into a comprehensive design-build company, following Jason’s vision of architecture and construction as two halves of a whole. With a father who was also a licensed architect and contractor, Jason learned early that how something gets built is inextricable from its design.
Cultivating Long-term Relationships
The intimate gathering reflected what makes AT6 special—it truly feels like a family, including clients, trade partners, current & former staff, and even some competitors!
Seeing familiar faces gathered together illustrated the bonds that develop when a firm consistently delivers exceptional results. The stories that clients tell—from transformative remodels to custom homes—serve as the foundation for AT6’s reputation, but on this night, it was simply about coming together to celebrate two decades of shared success.
The Power of Integration
What sets AT6 apart in the crowded Bay Area design market is their integrated approach. When Jason made the pivotal decision to bring construction in-house, it transformed the client experience entirely—providing end-to-end service combining inspiring architecture with high-quality construction, all under one roof.
“Our integrated approach ensures design integrity makes it through to the final product while providing clients with lower stress and higher accountability,” Jason explains. The proof is in projects like the multi-million-dollar Marin custom home that came in within 5% of budget and on-time despite numerous modifications.
Looking Forward
As the evening wound down, it was clear that AT6’s success isn’t just measured in square footage or project completions. It’s measured in the relationships built, the families whose daily lives have been enriched, and the trust earned through consistent excellence.
The San Francisco Chronicle once noted AT6’s ability “to integrate Southern California modernity with San Francisco conservatism” – a perfect description of how the firm bridges the gap between old and new, vision and reality, between what clients dream and what they ultimately call home. AT6 has grown and adapted while staying true to its core values.
Here’s to the next 20 years of creating homes that give Bay Area families a memorable place to create and live their family stories.
